Facilitator 1: Jaden Bailey

Jaden is a Registered Social Worker through the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a Master of Social Work. She is also an EMDR trained clinician. Jaden is licensed with FSRA for direct billing to HCAI for motor vehicle accident insurance and also offers direct billing to other insurance providers.

Jaden's professional interests include interventions for traumatic brain injury, depression, suicide, trauma, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Her training and experience with crisis intervention, suicide prevention, and PTSD treatment equip her to provide services and interventions to clients that promote independent functioning and emotional well-being.

Facilitator 2: Mackenzie Mountford

Mackenzie has recently completed her Master of Social Work and is currently undergoing the process to become a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.

Mackenzie's professional interests include advocacy and promoting equitable access to resources. Her training and experience in addressing social inequality, exclusion, and marginalization equip her to empower her clients and facilitate their community integration.


Using Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and an ecosystemic approach, this group aims to support survivors of motor vehicle accidents in navigating the insurance system while coping with the effects of their accident.


Participation offers group members an opportunity to enhance their abilities to:

1) practice mindfulness

2) regulate their emotions

3) tolerate distress

4) self-advocate in interpersonal relationships

5) and build a “new normal” that is satisfying and meaningful.
